Southington Police Blotter: Shoplifters Put 'On Alert'

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy Monday for police, officers made arrests in separate shoplifting and breach of peace cases. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department also reported the following arrests:

Oct. 28

Lester Chalmers, 26, of 121 Seymour St. in Bristol, was charged with failure to appear and sixth-degree larceny, Oct. 28.

Carla Tillotson, 41, of 1141 W. Center St. Ext. in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Oct. 28.

Christine Lyons, 18, of 11 Brookside Lane in Essex, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Oct. 28.

Robin A. Jurglewicz, 47, of 996 W. Center St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Oct. 28.

Oct. 29

Chantel M. Phillips, 19, of 1487 Baldwin St. in Waterbury, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Oct. 29.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Four people were cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
  • Four people were cited with violation of town park curfew laws.
  • One person was cited with unsafe backing/following too close.
  • One person was cited with failure to drive right/maintain proper lane.
