Southington Police Blotter: Thefts, MV Cases and Eggs

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

It's been a busy last week for Southington police and in a loaded arrest log that included two separate entries, the department reported numerous charges related to theft, motor vehicle incidents and domestic cases. In one case, a woman was charged after egging the wrong car. Take a look back.


The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Aug. 21


Allen Ligon, 28, of 867 Baldwin St. in Waterbury, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and following too close with the intent to harass, Aug. 21.

Ashley O. Dias, 22, of 52 Holmes Ave. in Waterbury, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Aug. 21.

Aug. 25

Mark S. Lubusky, 47, of 43 Academy St. in Southington, was charged with taking a motor vehicle without permission, Aug. 25.

Aug. 27

Timothy Demotses, 22, of 6 Kane St. in Southington, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, Aug. 27.

Aug. 28

Debra L. Ferrigno, 42, of 8 Country Way in Wallingford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Aug. 28.

Jessica L. Ruszowski, 28, of 803 Grassy Hill Road in Orange, was charged with second-degree forgery and criminal attempt to illegally obtain prescription drugs, Aug. 28.

Aug. 30

Michael W. Lukawecki, 53, of 277 Berlin St. in Southington, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, Aug. 30.

Arbri Medolli, 18, of 53 Shadee Lane in Waterbury, was charged with disorderly conduct, Aug. 30.

Aug. 31

Ryan S. Flannigan, 22, of 116 N. Pond St. in Bristol, was charged with first-degree criminal trespassing and second-degree breach of peace, Aug. 31.

Lori Jacoby, 46, of 186 Monroe Drive in Saylorsburg, Pa., was charged with disorderly conduct, Aug. 31.

Matthew Rutt, 44, of 186 Monroe Drive in Saylorsburg, Pa., was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Aug. 31.

Garrick Orsatti, 34, of 40 Park Ave. in Enfield, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, Aug. 31.

Gary J. Chute, 48, of 62 King St. in Bristol, was charged with theft of license plate, misuse of marker plates, failure to insure motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, Aug. 31.

Sept. 1

Jenny Machado, 27, of 168 Mount Sanford Road in Cheshire, was charged with third-degree assault, Sept. 1.

John P. Jacobson, 25, of 11 Quail Hollow Drive in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, Sept. 1.

Alexis Curiel, 23, of 30 Gridley St. in Bristol, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief, Sept. 1.

Franklin Thielman Jr., 56, of 1602 Mt. Vernon Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, Sept. 1.

Sept. 2

Anastasia Martinez, 18, of 642 Roosevelt Drive in Oxford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 2.

William R. Hubbell Jr., 45, of 80 Milldale Ave. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, Sept. 2.

Frances Pagano, 45, of 178 Berlin Ave. in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Sept. 2.

Kendra Mitchell, 21, of 150 Burritt St. in Plantsville was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, throwing an object at a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance, Sept. 2.

Sept. 3

Robert R. Parker, 44, of 553 Laning St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain proper lane, Sept. 3.

David Derisi, 22, of 6 Kane St. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 3.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Eleven (11) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Three people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Three people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
  • One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with person was cited with failure to drive right/maintain proper lane.
  • One person was cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
