Southington Police Blotter: Underage Drinking, Accidents and Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Underage drinking, accidents, breach of peace and failure to appear - it's been a busy weekend and start to the week for officers. Take a look back at Southington's latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Aug. 22


Luke Chreiman, 25, of 363 Main St. in Pine Meadow, was charged with evading responsibility in an accident, failure to obey stop sign and using a cell phone while driving, Aug. 22.

Aug. 23

Enzo Ingriselli, 57, of 74 Autran Ave. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence and breach of peace, Aug. 23.

Krzysztof Ozga, 21, of 291 Pershing Ave. in New Britain, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, Aug. 23.

Aug. 26

John Shaw Jr., 47, of 17 Regan St. in Vernon, was charged with four counts of second-degree failure to appear, Aug. 26.

Michael Mastrianni, 23, of 63 Merrell Ave. in Southington, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, Aug. 26.

Arben Murataj, 51, of 87 Brookwood Drive in Rocky Hill, was charged with driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle under suspension and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, Aug. 26.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Eleven (11) people were cited with possession of alcohol by a minor.
  • Ten (10) people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • Three people were cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • Three people were cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspenson.
  • Two people were cited with failure to carry insurance card.
  • Two people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • Two people were cited with operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
  • Two people were cited with failure to have proper headlights/tail lamps.
  • One person was cited with failure to carry registration.
  • One person was cited with unsafe passing in a construction zone.
  • One person was cited with failure to display marker plate.
  • One person was cited with failure to renew registration.
  • One person was cited with failure to signal turn.
  • One person was cited with failure to maintain proper lane.
