Southington Police Blotter: Two Charged in 'Social Host' Case

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Three teenagers were cited for underage drinking and two others are facing additional charges after police broke up a small weekend party in Southington, but that's just one of several arrests on the latest logs. Take a look back.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

July 5


Andrew Wild, 20, of 174 Rethal St. in Southington, was charged with permitting a minor to possess alcohol on a private property, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, July 5.

Robert B. Jasunas, 21, of 136 Rethal St. in Southington, was charged with supplying alcohol to a minor and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, July 5.

July 7


David B. Chesanek, 26, of 27 S. Plains Road in Southington, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, July 7.

Roland Garneau, 50, of 1845 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike in Southington, was charged with violation of probation and first-degree failure to appear, July 7.

July 8


Gregory Blackledge, 44, of 72 Henry St. in East Haven, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, July 8.

Rafael A. Molina, 31, of 441 Peidmont St. in Waterbury, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, July 8.

July 9


Austin A. Baker, 18, of 287 Rockwood Drive in Southington, was charged with first-degree burglary, six counts of third-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny, five counts of sixth-degree larceny, stealing a firearm, possession of a firearm without a proper permit, third-degree criminal mischief, credit card theft and second-degree providing a false statement, July 9.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Three people were cited with possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
  • Two people were cited with possession of alcohol by a minor.
  • One person was cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with speeding/traveling too fast.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • One person was cited with failure to insure motor vehicle.
