Southington Police Officer Honored by American Legion
Officer Tom Gallo was honored for his community service on Memorial Day.
Southington Police Officer Tom Gallo received the Law Enforcement Certification of Commendation during the American Legion Kiltonic Post #72 Memorial Day ceremonies.
The commendation was awarded for outstanding community service.
Gallo currently serves as the departments Community Relations officer working in the schools as a DARE officer and middle school SRO. Officer Gallo also admiinsters the departments Child passenger Safety program, Police Cadet Program as well as several other community based programs.
