The morning commute just got a little slower in the Southington area as a tractor trailer accident has taken out two lanes on Interstate 84 East.
The accident was reported at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, according to the state Department of Transportation. It is causing congestion for about three miles between exits 30 and 32; the accident itself took place between exits 31 and 32, the DOT reports.
The DOT gave no estimate of when the accident would be cleared. Patch will update this article when the DOT releases more information.
