Two Arrested on Domestic Charges

Police said an 18-year-old Sun Valley Drive resident was arrested for the fourth time this year.

Police had a lighter day on Monday as many town residents were focused on Hurricane Irene clean-up and the reported just two citations and two arrests.

The arrests included that of an 18-year-old Sun Valley Drive resident who has been charged in four separate domestic incidents since January, according to police and court records.

Here is a look at Tuesday’s arrest log:

Alexander Derisi, 18, of 56 Sun Valley Drive in Southington, was charged with violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct, Aug. 29.

Thomas J. Smith, 38, of 1467 Mount Vernon Road in Southington, was charged with disorderly conduct, Aug. 29.
