Two Charged in Larceny Cases

Police arrest two and cite more than 45 on cell phone and seatbelt violations.

Two arrests were made Wednesday in connection with shoplifting cases, police said, but the light arrest log is not a sign of the work done by officers.

With the Fall Click-It or Ticket campaign in full swing, police issued an additional 27 seatbelt violations and 18 cell phone violations during enforcement on Wednesday and early Thursday.

The also reported the following arrests:

Audrey J. Shreder, 23, last known address at 1426 Meriden Waterbury Road in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Nov. 16.

Michelle E. Maran, 54, of 59 Stearns St. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Nov. 16.

The preceding arrests were provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
