Two Charged in Shoplifting Cases

Police make three arrests, two in shoplifting cases and a third for motor vehicle infractions.

In a light Tuesday log for police, two people were charged in separate shoplifting cases and a third was arrested in continued motor vehicle failures.

The reported the following arrests:

Samuel K. Baran, 19, of 54 Haviland St. in Bristol, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, Dec. 5.

Lucina M. Rivera, 30, of 33 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Dec. 2.

Laura J. Cunningham, 48, of 12 Darling St. in Southington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, Dec. 3.
