SHS VARSITY COMPETITION
There's only one regular season game scheduled for the week ahead, but playoffs begin soon for the winter sports teams, including some this week. Take a look at the road ahead for athletes:

Southington Genealogical Society
Tuesday, Feb. 28, 7:30 p.m., at at Southington, 34 Hobart St.

Rabbi Edward Cohen of the United Synagogues of Greater Hartford will be speaking on "Researching Your Jewish Ancestry" at the next meeting of the Southington Genealogical Society. The meeting will take place at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Please note the change in location for the meeting this month. There is no admission charge and no obligation to become a member. Indoor Tag Sale Fundraiser to Support SHS Marching Band
Saturday, March 3, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Cafeteria, 720 Pleasant. St.
Over 20 families will be selling antiques, housewares, collectible, crafts, sporting goods, toys, baby items, furniture, books, and more. There will be a $2 admission fee and refreshments will be sold.
