Thursday evenings a Civil War Lecture will be held from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m at the Southington Historical Society at 239 Main Street. Topics focus on the Southington volunteers, --more than 300--their travels from engagement to engagement and from state to state during the period 1861-1865. The lectures are free and open to the public and you can also view the exhibit.
