Kennedy Sending 32 Students to Regional Music Festival

The music department at Kennedy Middle School will receive regional accolades after 32 students qualified to play in the CMEA Music Festival.

The following is a press release and photo from Tim Johnson, Unified Arts Curriculum Leader and music teacher at Kennedy Middle School.

"The Kennedy Middle School Music Department is proud to announce that they will be sending 32 student-musicians to the 2013 CMEA Southern Region Music Festival in March. Students passed a difficult audition in December and were selected for an All-Region Chorus, Orchestra, World Drumming Ensemble, Band, or Jazz Band. The whole school is very proud of all of these students and their terrific musical talents!"
