Leadership Program Gives Southington Students a 'Hands-On Experience'
Students from DePaolo this week were involved in a special training designed to provide leadership skills while participating in activities of their choice.
The following was submitted by Chris Palmieri, principal at DePaolo Middle School.
Students at DePaolo Middle School recently attended a training session at YMCA Camp Sloper for the school’s Leadership Program.
Students learned valuable leadership skills such as communication, collaboration, teamwork, & cooperation during their Saturday training. Over 430 students are involved in the Leadership Program and they will all be assigned a club or activity based on their interest.
