[VIDEO] 'Seussical' Brings Magic to the Middle School Stage

The joint production featuring DePaolo and Kennedy middle school students will kick off tonight.

Unity and developing a strong self-esteem are key themes in the family classic 'Seussical' and as local students prepare to share their musical talents with friends and family, these themes have become an important part of producing a quality performance.

For the past several months, more than 150 students from DePaolo and Kennedy middle schools have worked together to bring a production of the family classic 'Seussical' to the stage. The production will kick-off tonight with performances throughout the weekend.

"This is something that really brings the students together," said Christopher Palmieri, director and assistant Principal at . "It's been amazing to watch the teamwork. We are looking forward to the show."

The production will kick-off tonight at 7 p.m. with additional performances on March 30, March 31 and April 4. A final performance will also be held on April 5 at 3:15 p.m.

Tickets are $4 for students and $7 for adults and will be sold at the door.
