Sen. Markley visits Yarde Metals in Southington on a Manufacturing Tour

Senator Markley recently visited Yarde Metals in Southington for a business manufacturing tour. Senator Markley and Yarde Metals President Matt Smith walked the 150,000 square foot facility located adjacent to the company’s headquarters on Newell Street in Southington.

Yarde Metals serves 35,000 customers daily and employs hundreds of workers in Connecticut. Yarde Metals, a metals service center, is headquartered in Southington, CT with 17 branch locations throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Mid-West and Southern United States.

The company’s international division is located in Connecticut. Yarde Metals stocks and offers processing of aluminum, stainless, carbon steel and brass products.
