Vote for Greg Klimaszewski for the Board of Water Commissioners.

Greg Kimaszewski is a multi-talented public servant who is an Attorney, Licensed Building Contractor and Electrician who resides at 612 South End Road in Plantsville.

Q. Why are you running for office?

A. I am running for Water Board. My goal is to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people of the Town of Southington.

Further, I would like to continue to implement the Capital Improvement Plan which I have helped formulate in the past two years. This Plan provides us a road map for safe and clean drinking water for the people of Southington.

Underlining these fundamental concerns, I would like to continue to give back to the Southington community, using my time, experience and talents.

Q. What are your qualifications?

A. I have served as a Water Commissioner for the last two years and am currently Southington’s Assistant Town Attorney. I have a Jurist Doctorate from Quinnipiac University and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University.

I am also small business owner in Southington and hold an E-1 License, a New Home Builder License and a Home Improvement Contractor's License.

I have served on the Board of Directors of Catholic Family Services and am on the Board of Directors for Independent Electrical Contractors. I'm also a veteran of the US Army, serving as a Special Agent in the Intelligence Corps.

Q. What do you consider the most important local issues and, if elected, how do you propose to address them?

A. The priority issues are to meet the current and future water requirements of the Town of Southington and to improve, maintain and provide a sound water infrastructure.

We have developed a Capital Improvement Plan that provides for current, mid-range and long term planning, maintenance, and development of an infrastructure that will not only meet the current needs of the people of Southington but also provide for our future water requirements.

Finally, I would like to continue this work for the people of Southington.

I respectfully ask for your support in voting for me on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
