Re-elect Mike Delsanto for Planning & Zoning Commission

MIKE DELSANTO

Mike is employed by the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch as Lead Family Relations Counselor.  A third generation Southington resident, his grandparents were Italian Immigrants who happened upon this great town in the 1930’s.  In Mike's words:

"I have always been interested in politics and decided to run for the Southington Planning and Zoning Commission in 2001 to help make Southington a better place to live.

I feel that I have learned volumes as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for eight years and as the Chairperson for the last four.  We have some very exciting applications and developments coming our way in the near future, including revamping some of our regulations to conform to today’s standards and a subcommittee completely devoted to the development of the West Street corridor.  I feel that with my experience, I can continue to make a difference during the next four years.

I have an incredible allegiance to the town of Southington.  I believe I have served the people well during these four terms.  By missing only six meetings in twelve years (missing none as chairman); I feel that I have given every application my full attention."
