VOTE "YES" To Change The Town Charter!

A Letter From Mary Baker, Chairman, Board of Fire Commissioners

While serving on the Fire Commission, I have had the privilege of working with the dedicated administration and firefighters of the Southington Fire Department.

Continued success of this Department can best happen with day to day oversight by a professional, the Southington Town Manager, rather than by a commission.

The Manager can pool resources, seek grants, streamline purchases and direct facility and equipment improvements to insure the best protection for Southington in safety. With the Town Manager overseeing the Police and Fire Departments we can reach our spending and safety goals.

My Vote will be 'YES' to change the Town Charter.
