Are you interested in reducing stress and improving your
health? Tai Chi integrates mind and body to promote mental and physical health.
Tai Chi provides relaxation benefits and has been found helpful for people
dealing with arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, high blood pressure and other
health concerns. The movements of Tai Chi emphasize weight transference which
helps balance and prevent falls. Its gentle and rhythmic movements energize and
revitalize mind and body.
The Orchards at Southington offers Sun Style Tai Chi on
Saturday mornings 9:15-10:00AM, led by Certified Tai Chi Instructor, Jennifer
Wade, BS.ED, CPT. Sun Style Tai Chi is characterized by “lively step” footwork
and a higher stance than other Tai Chi forms. It is suitable for everyone! The
cost is $40 for six weeks or $10 per class. To reserve your spot, call Jennifer
Wade at 860-628-5656, extension 140. The Orchards at Southington is located at
