Southington's Erin Saucier Earns Academic, Sports Honors

The scholar-athlete at Muhlenberg College earns honor roll achievement.

Senior Erin Saucier of Southington of the Muhlenberg College track and field team was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and received All-CC honorable mention after a standout indoor season.

To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, a starter or key reserve on her team and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.

A neuroscience major, Saucier made the Academic Honor Roll for the first time at Muhlenberg. Saucier turned in an excellent season in the pole vault for the Mules, earning a bronze medal at the CC Indoor Championships for the second straight year. Saucier, who won gold at the indoor meet as a freshman, has earned seven places at the CC meets in her career.
