STEPS Youth Sponsor Blood Drive July 22nd

STEPS Youth are again sponsoring a blood drive at the Falcon Club on July 22, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Last year, the STEPS Youth partnered with the American Red Cross in sponsoring a blood drive at the Falcon Club. That blood drive yielded a collection of 50 units of blood; a successful blood drive is 40 units.

Coordinating this year's drive are Trever Rogers, a member of both the STEPS Advisory Board and the Youth Council, and STEPS parent, Alison McCarthy, whose children, James and Isabel Iovanna, are also involved in the efforts of the blood drive, working hard to promote the drive with posters, letters, and lots of online media.

With an American Red Cross goal of 60 units of blood this year, the STEPS Team has set a goal of 20 or more units to help the Red Cross reach its goal.

If you are able to donate blood please email Trever Rogers at tre14@cox.net. Or, you are welcome to Walk-In to donate blood. Just come to the Falcon Club at 33 Knowles Ave., Plantsville, between 11 am and 4 pm Monday, July 22nd.

Tell them "I'm In!" and that you are there to help the Youth of STEPS by giving blood.  The Falcon Club is just around the corner from Immaculate Conception Church.

Remember... you'll be helping to save a life!
