Was Valentine's Day not what you hoped it would be? Is it time for a new man?

The Relay for Life Team "Warriors For A Cure is sponsoring a Bachelor's Auction, an opportunity for you to bid on a date for two to a local restaurant. The effort is designed to help raise money for the town's annual Relay for Life, which takes place in May.

The fun will include open bidding on a number of participating bachelors, with the winner of each receiving a gift certificate for dinner to a local restaurant. Bidding starts at $15.

The event will take place on March 14, from 7 - 9 p.m. at Friends Cafe, 15 N. Liberty St. in downtown Southington. The event is ladies only, but will open to men once the program is complete at 9 p.m. A cover charge of $5 will be requested.
