'Cruise Nite' Leads to Donation for Southington Community Services

Pop's Burgers and Fries in Southington uses "Cruise Night" to raise money for the Southington Community Services Department.

Southington Community Services received a donation from the coordinators of cruise nite. 

Sponsored by Pop’s Burgers and Fries, Plantsville Auto Center and Mainely Seafood Restaurant, cruise nite is held every Sunday evening during the months of June, July and August in the parking lot of Pop’s. 

Raffle tickets are sold at every cruise for 5 raffle prizes given out during the show and the 50/50 raffle at the end of the night.

One half of all raffle money collected goes towards raffle prizes and the local charity we choose for the month and the other half of all monies collected goes to the winner of the 50/50 raffle.

Music from the 50's and 60's, the prominent classic car years, is played throughout the evening. The cruise nite usually gets an average of 50 cars from Southington and the surrounding towns.
