Brighten a Childs Holiday with an Easter Basket

Brighten a Child’s Holiday with an Easter Basket!

You can put a smile on the face of an “at risk” child this Easter.

The Social Justice Ministry of the Church of Saint Dominic
is again collecting Pre assembled Filled Easter  Baskets which will  be donated through the  Department of Children and Families in New Britain.

This program is part of the Social Justice Ministry’s continuing mission to reach out beyond our parish community and live our faith in  service to others. Your donation helps a local social  worker meet the needs of abused, neglected and severely impoverished  children in our  community.

Ideas: baskets can contain activities, books, gift certificates, snacks, etc! Sidewalk chalk, jump ropes, waffle balls….let your imagination run away. We always appreciate the baskets coming ready to give as a gift.

Please deposit already assembled baskets in the receptacle located in the Geraghty Parish Center, near the church doors.
