Mr. London, I am sorry you have become disenchanted with the Mountain Lore Animal Hospital. BecauseRead More we were not being paid by many long-standing clients, we have had to establish a more pro-active payment policy. We have not raised our prices in 3 years. Our doctors and support staff continnue to provide excellent care to both our animal patients and their humans. We are always happy to work with each individual owner to provide the care their pet requires and our staff carefully explains each treatment plan, making changes as an owner requests. Unfortunately, clients were not paying for their desired care and we were forced to request payment at the time the care was rendered. We still accept timely payments for life-saving procedures.

Ms. Latch, I apologize if one of our Customer Care Staff at the Front Desk made you uncomfortable.Read More Our Customer Care Staff dislikes having to ask for payment - it is stressful and makes everyone uneasy. It is the least liked part of their day. Many hours of continuing education are dedicated to creating positive client interactions. However, it is necessary that a pet's care be paid for at the time of service - a problem that was becoming out of control which is why a more pro-active payment policy was established. We still accept timely payments for life-saving procedures. I can assure you that both our doctors and support staff take the care of each and every pet in our care extremely seriously and treat each one as if it were our own. As Mountain Lore rarely has employee turnover, the same caring individuals our owners see at one visit will be the same caring people they will see at the next visit...providing a sense of continuity unlike most hospital experiences.
