Located on the top floor of the Southington Town Hall, the staff within the Planning and Zoning Department are responsible for conducting reviews of site plans and assisting with the technical questions presented by the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Inland and Wetlands Commission. Staff members are also charged with answering questions from the general public and working directly with developers, as well as reviewing and approving permit applications for most new construction projects and expansions.
