Her rights were violated. If "I" have to look at all the jesus propaganda, then I shouldRead More be able to voice my right to free speech. While I would never choose such a plate for fear that my car would get vandalized, I totally support this woman's right to request it.

Getting back to the topic at hand... Religious freedom clause of the 1st Amendment is extended toRead More all regardless of one's religious beliefs or lack thereof. It seem like we can use our freedom of speech not in snipping and sniping at one another, but to use the freedom of speech to promote good will and to do what is right. Protecting religious freedom of other people's religious practice is the right thing to do. To do the contrary is not only wrong, it's also un-American.

For your information david the TDI clean diesel gets 28% more mileage in Europe. That car is exactlyRead More the same car that is sold here . But tuned for better mileage. So be it as it may the entire planet other than the US gets 28% better mileage than the US, Less FUEL BURNT LESS POLLUTION. Remember the feds and states TAX FUELS. D'OH!! And the Prius is the worst polluter on earth. So you Sir are a misinformed liberal democrat. By the way i think me being obsessed with automotive fuel usage and there mileage facts would amuse you. But as usual liberals do not want the facts on fuel consumption by automobiles. And i well know what i am talking about you can take that to the bank.
Anthony Powers April 21, 2014 at 06:37 am
Anthony Powers April 21, 2014 at 05:52 AM You seem to be obsessed with car mileage. ...1: Gas isRead More very expensive in Europe so they tend to drive lighter cars with smaller engines. ...2: The USA has sticter emission standards that knock off about 10%. ...3: USA test cycles are more realistic and give lower mileage. ...4. The European inperial gallon is larger than the US gallon. This may cause confusion. >>>>>>>>>>>>> RUBBISH!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tell me David do you contract you electricity from GREEN COMPANIES and pay an extra 6 cents a kilowatt hour??? Do you buy from a solar grid that is more money?? I am willing to bet you don't. So please answer that. As i have researched this and found that green energy costs more money. And what has your researcher shown!!s

I never want to be a burden on family..i have seen what happens when you work your whole life,Read More retire, have health insurance, pension, medicare, bank account , a house..and what's the first thing that happens when it's time to go into a nursing home? Insurance denies you any help to pay for the nursing home and your famiy is left spending all of the bank account, the Nursing home is drooling at the prospect of taking your house, the rest of the family is having enough pain of going thru the nursing home ordeal onbly to be treated like garbage by Insurance agencies and thieving nursing homes where the Aides treat your loved one like they are on an assembly line, the beds are thirty years old or more, don't have the proper updated facilities and the staff makes too much money for what they do. so when I die? toss me in the woods somewhere to rot, when I get feeble? push me off a cliff.

David Greenberg April 20, 2014 at 01:39 pm
So what you're saying william is that anyone who comes along and claims "PTSD",Read More "ABUSE", blah, blah blah should get a free pass? Why have laws then? The whole concept of making something a criminal act is that we want to discourage it from happening in the first place, by putting deterrents into effect. One such deterrent is PRISON, another is the Death Penalty. If this person was being abused, she had options BEFORE coming to this point - for whatever reason, she make a decision to kill someone, and a Jury of her peers determined her guilt. So off to jail she goes - hopefully FOREVER.

The more I think about it, the more disturb I get. Think about it. You go the supermarket. They wantRead More you to scan your own groceries. Bag your own groceries. They want you to put the money in the machine. Have they lowered the prices? No. Now when you go to fast food places they want you to do their job for them. Pour your own drinks. Do you get a discount? No. Seems to me the more places you go the more they want, you the paying customer to do their job for them. Put the soda machine behind the counter and do the work that you want the minimum wage increase for.
