Located across from Southington Town Hall, the town green has long been a meeting place for residents in the community.More The green separates Main Street from a one-way road commonly known among locals as "Apple Alley" because it serves as the center of the town's annual Apple Harvest Festival. The green also includes a detailed history of how the town came to be, as well as memorial plaques honoring those who have served the United States during wartime and is the home of the town's annual Memorial Day and Veterans Day celebrations.
