I am a 39-year-old mom of two girls, Meghan (9) and Katelyn (5.5).  I have a husband of 14 years, Brian.  I also have two cats and a dog.  I hold a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership.  I have been a teacher for over eight years.  I am going to be going back to college to SCSU to get another Master's degree:  this time in Special Education.  My daughter Meghan plays ice hockey and my other daughter Katelyn loves ballet. 
I like to be involved in my town and know what is going on.  It is important to me.  My children attend the schools here and I am very proud of them. I am back in the education field part time teaching ELL (English Language Learners) at Great Oak Middle School.  I have lived in Oxford for seven years and love the town very much.  Besides writing and teaching, I like to garden, listen to music and absolutely love the winter and playing in the snow!
