Lisa DeVito, Neighbor

Lisa has been writing since she could hold a crayon and drawing with it too (much to her mother's and her bedroom walls' dismay). She and her other unmarried, late-20-something entourage are hungry for culture and a new type of social scene in Meriden.

When she is not hunting down fun things to do, you can find her roaming around town taking photos with her other appendage -- her Canon Rebel Xsi -- or at Hubbard Park being walked by her unruly, duck-hating dog Lulu, or sitting at Red Bridge with her Kindle pretending she's reading something intellectual. (She has a strong affinity for trash-tastic novels à la V.C. Andrews)

Lisa went to Central Connecticut State University and is now attending Brio Academy in Meriden, fufilling her love of the beauty industry in the esthetics program. She has transitioned from sarcastic blogger to writer for Patch.com, reporting on what she loves best: her town.
