Walk or Run with The Connecticut Humane Society and the Meriden Rotary Foundation at the 5th Annual Central Connecticut Pet Fair, Dog Walk and 5K Road Race

WHAT: Central Connecticut Pet Fair, Dog Walk & 5K Road Race

The Meriden Rotary, in partnership with the Connecticut Humane Society, will hold its 5th Annual Central CT Pet Fair, Dog Walk & 5K Road Race on Saturday, July 20th, 2013 at Hubbard Park in Meriden.

FOX CT Meteorologist Rachel Frank will be the Grand Marshal of this year’s event, kicking off the 5K at 9:00 AM.

The event, held rain or shine, is anticipated to draw over 2,500 attendees and will feature activities such as a Dog Walk, 5K, Kids Fun Run for children 12 and younger and an expanded pet fair featuring more animal welfare displays, pet related vendors, kid’s activities, live entertainment, demonstrations, prizes, and a chance to meet adoptable pets.

The Meriden Rotary, now in its fifth year holding this family-fun event, has chosen The Connecticut Humane Society as its new charity partner for the 2013 event and beyond.
