(Updated) Roads Reopened, Details Still Scarce in Main Street Accident

Officers are investigating a collision that took place on Main Street Wednesday morning that caused at least one injury.

(Updated: 11:58 a.m.)
A collision along Main Street this morning forced police to close Main Street between Bristol Street and Maple Street while leaving at least one person with undisclosed injuries.

Officers were on scene as of 10 a.m., police said, with detours set up on Main Street, as well as on a section of Carter Lane between Old Turnpike Road and Main Street as part of the investigation, police said.

Both those detours have since been removed and the road has reopened.

The extent of injuries and number of cars involved has not been released. More details are expected later in the day, police said.
