PC Users Alert! Windows XP support ends on April 8th.

Here's an important advisory for all computer users from C.Mark White of the Computer Learning Center at Southington's Calendar House.

On April 8th April, Microsoft will stop supporting Windows XP operating system. Now, if you have an XP system on your computer,  it will still work after 8th April. But, be aware that you will no longer get updates from Microsoft and the system will become increasingly vulnerable to hacker and virus attacks.  

Support for Microsoft Office 2003 also stops on Aoril 8th meaning that popular applications like Word in Office 2003 (or earlier) will also be increasingly vulnerable. Later versions of Office should not be affected.
